Dr. Andreas Pöllmann is Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (Instituto de Investigaciones Sociales). Previous positions include a Lectureship in Social Research Methods at City University London (Department of Sociology) and a Visiting Fellowship at the University of Essex (Department of Sociology).

His current work focuses on links between formal education, (access to) intercultural capital, and feelings of attachment beyond narrow ethno-national boundaries. The respective research is supported by the Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) - Coordination of Humanities - and carried out at the Instituto de Investigaciones Sociales.
