My basic research documents the geological formation of modern and fossil coral-reef systems and attempts to identify the ecological and geological processes that control their initiation, development and demise.
Using insight gained from these reef records, my applied research focuses on identifying the interaction between climate, ice-sheets and sea-level that have taken place during glacial-interglacial cycles.
